View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Hanwha Systems is accelerating the cultivation of space industry talent in the Jeju region and the commercialization of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) in collaboration with Jeju National University.
On the 23rd, Hanwha Systems announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) the previous day at Jeju National University for "joint research and development cooperation in the space and UAM fields and the cultivation of specialized talent in the Jeju region."
According to the agreement, Hanwha Systems and Jeju National University will promote joint research and development in the space and UAM fields, nurture outstanding talent, and conduct joint research and business development for Jeju-type UAM commercial services.
Uh Seongcheol, CEO of Hanwha Systems, said, "Through industry-academia cooperation with Jeju National University, we expect to create great synergy in joint research in the space field and the commercialization of UAM projects in the Jeju region."
