[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Jeju Shilla Hotel announced on the 22nd that it will hold the 'Meet the Santa' event on the 24th and 25th, where Santa Claus will personally visit guest rooms to deliver gifts.
The Santa Claus event started in 2009 with the heartfelt wish of parents to preserve their children's innocence, and over 13 years, the number of children who have met Santa has reached 2,700.
If customers leave gifts they have prepared in advance along with notes containing messages they want to convey at the hotel's G.A.O.(Guest Activity Organizer) desk, Santa will personally visit the guest room at the requested time between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM to deliver the gifts. Any guests staying at Jeju Shilla Hotel can apply, and the event may close early depending on advance reservations. A representative of Jeju Shilla Hotel said, "Inquiries about the Meet the Santa event are ongoing," adding, "It is so popular that some customers visit every year specifically for the Santa event."
Jeju Shilla Hotel also offers the 'Sumbi Photo' experience, where families with children can capture memorable moments in the ondol rooms, and the 'Dear My Family' package, which provides various food options. Guests can take a stroll through the Sumbi Garden with G.A.O., the hotel's leading leisure entertainment expert, and take photos at hidden photo spots throughout the hotel to create family memories. At the outdoor heated pool, guests can enjoy handmade fried chicken, French fries, and salad at the poolside bar after swimming.
The 'Dear My Family' package offers a standard terrace room with an ondol floor and a bed, and includes an option to change breakfast for two adults and one child to a Parkview lunch. This package is available for stays of two nights or more until February 28 of next year, with discounts on room rates for stays of three nights or longer.
