Development of Expo-Linked Tourism Products, Active Cooperation in Attracting Group Visitors to Busan Area
The Gyeongnam Sancheong World Traditional Medicine and Anti-Aging Expo Organizing Committee signed a business agreement and conducted a fam tour to promote attracting visitors.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The organizing committee of the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine and Anti-Aging Expo in Gyeongnam invited members and officials of the Busan Tourism Association for a 1-night, 2-day familiarization tour and signed a business agreement to promote visitor attraction starting from the 20th.
The committee invited 28 people including officials from the Busan Tourism Association, travel agencies, and Korail to establish effective visitor attraction measures such as participation of official travel agencies and development of tourism products.
On this day, the committee explained the event overview and main programs of the ‘2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine and Anti-Aging Expo,’ and the attendees presented various ideas and opinions.
Additionally, through the business agreement with the Busan Tourism Association, they promised to cooperate for ‘domestic and international expo promotion, development of expo tourism products, recruitment of expo visitors, active mutual information sharing, and promotion of Busan tourism.’
Park Jeong-jun, Secretary General of the organizing committee, said, “This familiarization tour and business agreement will greatly help attract visitors from Busan and Gyeongnam, the regions with the largest visitor base for the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine and Anti-Aging Expo. We will make every effort to attract visitors through recruitment of official travel agencies, development of tourism products, and incentive support in the future.”

The 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine and Anti-Aging Expo, themed ‘Promise of the Future, Traditional Medicine in the World,’ is scheduled to be held for 35 days from September 15 to October 19 next year at the Donguibogam Village area in Sancheong-gun.
