‘Family-Friendly Certification’ is a system that grants certification to institutions that exemplary operate family-friendly policies such as childbirth and childcare support, and improvement of working environments to support work-family balance.
To create a family-friendly workplace culture, the county designates every Wednesday and Friday as ‘Family Love Days’ to encourage leaving work on time, and implements various family-friendly policies such as flexible working hours and paternity leave for male workers.
Accordingly, in October, through on-site inspections by professional evaluators from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, document reviews, and employee satisfaction surveys, the county achieved the result of obtaining re-certification as an excellent family-friendly institution.
With this re-certification, the county will maintain its status as an ‘Excellent Family-Friendly Institution’ for three years until 2025.
Since it was first selected as a family-friendly certified institution in 2014, it has firmly established itself as a family-friendly institution by passing the extension in 2017, re-certification in 2019, and again passing the re-certification evaluation this year.
