Kyungbok University Obtains 5-Year Accreditation for Bachelor of Nursing Program

View original image[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The College of Nursing at Kyungbok University has obtained a '5-year accreditation for the Bachelor of Nursing program' in the 4th cycle of the 2022 Nursing Education Accreditation Evaluation conducted by the Korea Accreditation Board of Nursing Education.
Through this accreditation, Kyungbok University has been officially recognized for excellence across all areas including curriculum, outcomes, and educational environment. The accreditation period is from June 14, 2023, to June 13, 2028.
The Nursing Education Accreditation Evaluation is a system that officially verifies and certifies whether educational outcomes, curriculum operation, and educational conditions meet the standards required by the nation, society, nursing, and the professional field, aiming to promote qualitative development of nursing education and support and manage nursing students' achievements.
The Nursing Education Accreditation Evaluation consists of six areas: the department's vision and management system, curriculum, students, faculty, facilities and equipment, and educational outcomes; 14 evaluation sections; and 27 evaluation items, which are assessed through both quantitative and qualitative evaluations depending on the item.
