Human Rights Management System Certified for 3 Consecutive Years... Realizing the Value of Human Rights Management
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 19th that it has been recognized for its efforts to establish a human rights management system and spread a culture of respect for human rights, receiving the 'Human Rights Management System Certification' from the Korea Management Certification Institute for three consecutive years.
The 'Human Rights Management System Certification' is a system that certifies the suitability of an organization's human rights management goals, policies, and implementation requirements through an evaluation process.
This year, YGPA established three strategic directions: ▲improvement of the human rights management implementation system ▲spread of a culture of respect for human rights ▲communication, diagnosis, and feedback, and carried out various human rights management activities focused on key tasks. They explained that these activities were recognized for the performance and excellence of the human rights management system.
President Park Seong-hyun said, "The continuous acquisition of the human rights management system certification is the result of efforts to establish a proper culture of respect for human rights," and added, "YGPA will strive even harder to realize ESG management by spreading the human rights management culture to not only YGPA employees but also partners, stakeholders, and the local community."
