Ostem Implant Pledges 1 Billion KRW Donation to Seoul National University Graduate School of Dentistry
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] On the 19th, Osstem Implant announced that it has pledged a donation of 1 billion KRW as a commemorative fund to the Seoul National University Graduate School of Dentistry, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Over the past 20 years, Osstem Implant has continuously provided scholarships to dental schools nationwide, including the Seoul National University Graduate School of Dentistry, contributing to the advancement of dental science in Korea.
Founded in 1922 as Gyeongseong Dental Medical School, the Seoul National University Graduate School of Dentistry is Korea's first dental education institution and has played a central role in the development of dental science in the country for the past 100 years. Chairman Choi Kyu-ok, the founder of Osstem Implant, is also an alumnus of Seoul National University's Department of Dentistry.
Chairman Choi said, "I am proud to contribute to nurturing talented doctors who play a pivotal role in the development of dentistry and the dental community through continuous donations and support. I hope to maintain a precious relationship with my alma mater through steady giving and sharing so that future generations can develop global competitiveness in the field of dental science."
