[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends 2022 Daun Welfare Center Year-end Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 16th at 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the '2022 Down Welfare Center Year-end Event' held at Yeohyeja Hall on the 4th floor of the Down Welfare Center.
The Down Welfare Center, operated by the social welfare corporation Downhoe, runs experiential activities for developmentally disabled youth and university students in the area, and carries out mentoring projects that integrate people with and without disabilities.
The year-end event was attended by about 250 people including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, National Assembly members Woo Won-shik and Ko Yong-jin, welfare center users, parents, and local residents. The event proceeded in the order of opening ceremony, congratulatory performances, director’s greeting, introduction of guests, congratulatory speeches, and commemorative photo session.
