BioCos 'Larucell' Receives Inno-Biz Certification from Ministry of SMEs and Startups
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] BioCos Co., Ltd., which produces and sells the premium skincare brand 'Larucell,' was selected as a technology-innovative small and medium enterprise by receiving the 'Inno-Biz Certification' from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 16th.
Inno-Biz is a compound word of 'Innovation' and 'Business,' and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups selects small and medium enterprises that have secured competitiveness in technology and awards them the Inno-Biz certification.
To receive the Inno-Biz certification, a strict evaluation by experts is conducted, consisting of about 60 items in four areas: technological innovation, technology commercialization, technology innovation management, and technological innovation performance. The evaluation is divided into stages from startup to the technology level rating by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation and history details.
BioCos's Larucell is suitable not only for customers with sensitive skin but also excludes ingredients prohibited for use by pregnant women, making it safe for pregnant women to use. In particular, Larucell applies the 'ELASOME™' technology, a liposome method that increases the cumulative amount of natural-derived active ingredients in the skin.
Additionally, it uses 'Tarax-Ⅱ™,' a pharmaceutical composition excellent in anti-inflammatory effects and skin soothing, by mixing toxic dandelion and barley, which can be used for therapeutic purposes, through proprietary blending technology instead of purified water. Furthermore, it maximizes functionality with natural-derived active ingredients and adds scientific technology to enhance competitiveness.
Yooji Kang, CEO of BioCos, said, "I am very pleased that Larucell's technological capabilities have been recognized once again through the Inno-Biz certification," and added, "We will continue to strive steadily to create products with definite effects visible in results, not just emphasizing visible ingredients, as we have done so far."
