Merchants entering Coupang Marketplace for the first time can also receive onboarding training and consulting.
In this special exhibition, about 18 million active Coupang customers can purchase products from over 30 traditional market stores at affordable prices. Representative products include handmade pure flower tea syrup, Oppane nuts and nut gangjeong, and Asan Hanyang Rice Cake Shop's nutritious glutinous rice cakes. These products can be found in the Good Store section displayed on Coupang's main page. The Good Store is a specialized section where small and medium-sized merchants nationwide can promote and sell their competitive products to Coupang customers through a separate top sales page.
Coupang has continuously worked to strengthen the digital capabilities of traditional market merchants and expand sales channels through online entry. According to Coupang, through the traditional market revitalization program, over the past 2 years and 4 months, more than 1,300 stores from 106 markets nationwide have entered the online market. Their sales from January to September this year increased by an average of 77% compared to the same period last year.
