Hanwha Techwin Shares 'Warm Love Rice Donation' with Vulnerable Groups
Donation of 7,150kg of Rice
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] On the 15th, Hanwha Techwin announced that it conducted a volunteer activity called 'Warm Love Rice Sharing' in collaboration with the Seongnam Volunteer Center the previous day.
Hanwha Techwin donated 7,150 kg of rice worth 20 million KRW (715 bags of 10 kg each) to the Seongnam Volunteer Center to support vulnerable groups during the winter. Through the Seongnam Volunteer Center, the rice will be delivered to 34 social welfare facilities and 715 vulnerable households in the district.
Meanwhile, last year Hanwha Techwin purchased 9,100 kg of kimchi worth about 30 million KRW and delivered it to vulnerable groups in the district in need of winter assistance through volunteer organizations and 37 social welfare facilities, actively engaging in social contribution activities.
