[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan City and Busan Tourism Organization will promote the ‘Seven Bridge Tourism Content,’ which utilizes seven coastal bridges and seven beaches in Busan, by conducting a year-end and New Year tourist attraction promotion from the 15th.
The seven coastal bridges are Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Busanhangdaegyo Bridge, Yeongdodaegyo Bridge, Namhangdaegyo Bridge, Eulsukdodaegyo Bridge, Sinhodaegyo Bridge, and Gadukdaegyo Bridge, and the seven beaches are Imrang, Ilgwang, Songjeong, Haeundae, Gwangalli, Songdo, and Dadaepo Beaches.
The city is promoting the ‘Seven Bridge Tourism Resource Development’ to create a new tourism hub that leverages the characteristics of marine resources for the establishment of Busan as an international tourist city. This promotion, titled ‘Seven Times Exciting Busan Trip,’ will be conducted as a special exhibition utilizing tourism resources around the Seven Bridges.
The promotion will run from the 15th until January 31 of next year and will provide through the global online travel agency (OTA) ‘Trip.com’ ▲introduction of ‘tourism content for each of the seven bridges’ ▲recommendation of ‘road trip courses using vehicles’ ▲and ‘special discount coupons for Seven Bridges.’
▲The ‘introduction of tourism content for each of the seven bridges’ informs about the Seven Bridges that can be enjoyed day and night based on data collected through citizen participation events such as travel writers and experts involved in the development of the Seven Bridges brand and Seven Bridges supporters.
Also, ▲the ‘road trip using vehicles’ recommends a coastal bridge driving course where all seven bridge resources can be experienced.
▲The ‘Seven Bridges special discount coupons’ provide discount coupons for trains to Busan, accommodations near the Seven Bridges, and paid tourist attractions, allowing visitors to stay in Busan along the Seven Bridges and enjoy recommended travel spots around the bridges in detail.
Coupons can be downloaded from Trip.com and used on a first-come, first-served basis, with discounts up to 8,000 KRW. The discount targets can be checked on Trip.com.
In addition, in connection with the promotion, the ‘Seven Bridges Recommended Travel Participation Certification Event’ will be held on the official Seven Bridges Instagram.

Yu Gyuwon, Director of the City Tourism MICE Bureau, said, “The Seven Bridges tourism resource development project focuses on the role of bridges as connectors, developing ‘hub-type tourism content’ that utilizes the points where bridges connect, and discovering ‘viewpoints’ for taking photos with the bridges as backgrounds, so there are many tourism elements.” He added, “We will continue to develop tourism content so that visitors can enjoy various representative tourist spots of Busan, an international tourist city, along the Seven Bridges, and further strengthen tourist participation events.”
