Namshin Remicon Co., Ltd. Donates 10 Million Won Scholarship Fund to Chunhyang Scholarship Foundation
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namshin Remicon Co., Ltd. (Chairman Yang Hae-chun) announced on the 14th that it donated 10 million won to the Chunhyang Scholarship Foundation to foster local talent.
Chairman Yang Hae-chun, who serves as the vice chairman of the Chunhyang Scholarship Foundation, donated 10 million won again this year following his donation of 10 million won in 2018.
Chairman Yang Hae-chun stated, “To lead Namwon’s future as a hopeful region, we must create conditions that can lay the foundation for fostering local talent.”
Choi Kyung-sik, director of the Chunhyang Scholarship Foundation, said, “Although the local economy is increasingly stagnant and the situation is difficult, the scholarship program is being revitalized thanks to the interest, support, and encouragement of local residents,” adding, “The donated scholarship funds will be used as valuable resources for fostering local talent, in accordance with the intentions of the foundation’s directors.”
