Yeonggwang-gun to Hold 'Year-End Concert' at Seoul Arts Center on 20th-21st
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kang Jongman) announced on the 13th that it will hold the year-end special performances ‘2022 Year-end Concert’ and ‘Chunha Chudong Detox Concert’ at the Yeonggwang Arts Center Grand Theater on the 20th and 21st.
On the 20th, the ‘2022 Year-end Concert’ will feature a wide repertoire ranging from classical, opera, art songs, to popular songs performed by the Seoul Grand Philharmonic Orchestra (conductor Seo Hoon), along with singer Sohyang, tenor Son Minho, and soprano Hanarin, who captivate the world with their explosive vocal power. They will offer a touching healing time and a message of hope to the citizens who have worked hard throughout the year.
On the 21st, the ‘Chunha Chudong Detox Concert’ will present an unsurpassed performance that allows the audience to feel the value and emotional resonance of traditional arts. Nam Sangil’s deep voice that moves the heart, the lively stage of Park Guyoon, voice queen Choi Yeonhwa, and folk song queen Jo Yongju will create a fresh and harmonious stage combining gugak and trot music.
The event is hosted by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association, organized by Yeonggwang-gun, and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Council.
Both performances have an admission fee of 3,000 KRW per seat (limited to 2 tickets per person). Tickets can be reserved online through Ticketlink starting from the 14th or purchased on-site at the Yeonggwang Arts Center information desk.
Seniors aged 65 and over who find it difficult to visit in person can use the phone reservation service to book tickets.
