Riot Games Donates Over $6 Million to 84 Organizations Worldwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Riot Games announced on the 13th that it will hold an event involving players worldwide to donate to its social contribution fund.
Riot Games, the developer and service provider of titles such as "League of Legends" and "Valorant," plans to donate over 6 million dollars raised through multiple in-game events to social contribution funds. For this campaign, Riot Games selected a total of 84 nonprofit organizations?3 per country across 28 countries?as donation recipients.
Players can check the nonprofit organizations selected as donation recipients on the official website and participate in voting until the 22nd. After the voting ends, Riot Games will allocate 50% of the donation amount assigned to each country to the organization with the highest votes. The other two organizations will each receive 25% of the country's donation amount. Every donation recipient will receive at least 10,000 dollars.
