[Asia Economy Reporter Byeon Seon-jin] At around 4:10 a.m. on the 10th, a passenger car carrying four high school students in their teens collided with a utility pole on National Route 6 in front of Sinwon Station, Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, resulting in two deaths.
According to the police, the accident occurred when an SM5 vehicle carrying four high school students in grades 1 to 2 (three male students and one female student) was driving on National Route 6 towards Seoul and collided with a utility pole for unknown reasons. As a result of the accident, one male student and one female student who were thrown out of the vehicle died.

The other two male students were seriously injured and are receiving hospital treatment. Due to the condition of the two seriously injured, it is currently unknown who the driver was. The vehicle is reported to be owned by the mother of the deceased female student.
