Prosecutors Conduct Search and Seizure on Former Blue House Secretary Over 'CJ Affiliate Employment Corruption'

The Anti-Corruption Investigation Division 2 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Young-chul) is simultaneously searching Mr. A's residence and the Yeouido office in Seoul of Mr. B, a former aide to a Democratic Party lawmaker who was appointed as a full-time advisor at Korea Integrated Logistics. Mr. B was appointed to the advisory position as the successor to former Democratic Party Deputy Secretary-General Lee Jung-geun.

Regarding suspicions that former Blue House Chief Secretary Noh Young-min was involved in the employment process of former Deputy Secretary-General Lee, the prosecution conducted a search and seizure on the 23rd of last month at the Korea Integrated Logistics office in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, as well as at the office and residence of another staff member of the Blue House Personnel Secretary's Office on charges of obstruction of business.
