Korean Traditional Culture University Hosts Regular Meeting of International Cultural Heritage Alliance
On the 9th, the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage will hold an online regular meeting of the International Cultural Heritage Alliance. The International Cultural Heritage Alliance was formed in April 2016 at the United Nations International University Presidents Colloquium by adopting the 'New Haven Declaration.' Twelve universities and institutions from eleven countries, including Yale University in the United States, collaborate to strengthen capabilities in the field of cultural heritage and exchange academic programs.

This meeting is hosted by the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage. Educational programs will be shared and research achievements presented under three themes: 'Current Status of Global Preservation and Restoration of Tangible and Intangible Heritage,' 'Heritage Conservation Training Programs,' and 'Protection of Heritage at Risk.' Presenters include Lee Su-jeong, Director of the World Heritage Interpretation Center; Yoo Jeong-min, Professor at Korea National University of Cultural Heritage; Tor Strohstrom, Professor at Uppsala University, Sweden; Kim Byung-wan, Ph.D. at Korea National University of Cultural Heritage; Richard Kurin, Ph.D. at the Smithsonian Institution, USA; and Stephan Simon, Ph.D. at the German Roetgen Institute. The event will be broadcast live on the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage YouTube channel and other platforms.
