GiftX is a gift that allows customers to experience various services from brand companies when purchasing products. Beyond simply gifting products, it offers a new gifting experience by combining various online and offline services such as beauty classes.
KakaoTalk Gift and Chanel Beauty began applying GiftX to Chanel products starting from the 7th. When purchasing Chanel products, only gifting customers receive exclusive invitations to beauty classes. For Chanel perfume products, customers receive an invitation to the ‘Chanel Perfume Masterclass,’ where they can learn about the professional techniques of Chanel perfumery. For other beauty products, customers receive an invitation to the ‘Chanel Alchemic Perfume Journey’ class, where they can explore Chanel perfumes that match their style and personality.
Going forward, Kakao plans to showcase differentiated products through GiftX and provide partners with opportunities to activate customer touchpoints alongside product sales.
