View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS Shop announced on the 8th that Mia Bernhardsen, Korea General Manager of the Norwegian Seafood Council affiliated with the Norwegian Embassy, visited the home shopping studio.
This visit was intended to introduce Korean home shopping as one of the main sales channels for Norwegian seafood to Norway, following the great popularity of the "Mackerel Table Boneless Norwegian Skinless Mackerel" sold by GS Shop.
The Boneless Mackerel Table Skinless Mackerel has sold 11.78 million packs individually from its first sale in March 2018 until the end of November this year. The order amount has exceeded 20 billion KRW, and the number of customers who purchased the product at least once reached 410,000. Although the average monthly broadcast frequency this year was only 2 to 3 times, cumulative sales until the end of last month increased by 25% compared to the entire previous year’s sales.
