'2022 Venture Entrepreneurs' Night' Held on the 6th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Venture entrepreneurs have united with the spirit of entrepreneurship to overcome the crisis caused by the global economic downturn.
The Venture Business Association held the '2022 Venture Entrepreneurs' Night' event on the 6th at EL Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul. The event awarded the 'Venture Award of the Year' to entrepreneurs and related organization officials who contributed to the development and fostering of the venture industry, and aimed to resolve to advance and unite venture companies.
This year’s event was held under the slogan, "Global Economic Crisis, We Will Overcome It Again with the Spirit of Entrepreneurship." About 200 people attended, including Lee Young, Minister of SMEs and Startups, Seong Il-jong, Han Mu-gyeong, and Hong Seok-jun from the People Power Party, Kim Jeong-ho and Jeong Tae-ho from the Democratic Party, Kim Bun-hee, President of the Korea Women Venture Association, and Seok Yong-chan, President of the Korea Management Innovation Small and Medium Business Association.
At the event, a campaign and pledge event to spread the culture of entrepreneurship was held with the meaning of venture entrepreneurs joining forces to overcome the crisis caused by the global economic downturn. Attendees expressed their commitment to the campaign by attaching their business cards to a declaration wall set up at the venue.
The Venture Award of the Year was presented by the Minister of SMEs and Startups to seven recipients, including Lee Dae-hwan, CEO of Luxrobo, Ryu Jong-hyeok, CEO of Seoul Leaf, and Lee Jong-cheon, CEO of Seonyang Food. Additionally, the Venture Business Association President’s Award was given to member companies and venture businesses who contributed to the development of their respective associations.
