Senior Researcher Myunghoon Park of LIG Nex1 Receives 'Young Researcher Award' from the Korean Electromagnetic Wave Society... Published 7 Papers in 3 Years on Radar System Development, Design, and Analysis

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Senior Researcher Park Myung-hoon of LIG Nex1 received the ‘Young Researcher Award’ from the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science (KIEES) this year.
Senior Researcher Park belongs to the Systems Engineering Team of the C4ISTAR Research and Development Division 1 at LIG Nex1 and has been actively conducting research from radar system development to post-analysis.
The ‘Young Researcher Award’ was established in 2013 and is given once a year to researchers under the age of 45 who have contributed to the development of KIEES and the academic advancement of the electromagnetic field through outstanding academic achievements and active volunteer work.
Senior Researcher Park Myung-hoon has been responsible for radar system M&S analysis and has published a total of seven papers in the KIEES journal since 2019, focusing on various radar performance analyses using M&S analysis techniques.
He has applied M&S technology in radar system development, conducting diverse research activities from development design to requirements verification, test evaluation prediction, and post-analysis.
LIG Nex1’s Senior Researcher Kwon Se-woong (currently at the Radar Research Institute) received the Young Researcher Award from KIEES in 2014.
Senior Researcher Park said, “I will strive to achieve world-class results in LIG Nex1’s radar M&S analysis technology through in-depth research in the future.”

KIEES was established in 1989 for academic research and industrial development related to electromagnetic wave utilization technology, electromagnetic environments, and related industries, and as of 2022, it has over 11,000 members.
