Yamaha Music Korea Supports Rock Band Nell's 'Live Kit' Production
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Yamaha Music Korea, a global musical instrument and audio specialist, announced on the 5th that it supported the production of a live kit for the new album project of the four-member South Korean rock band Nell.
The new album project by Nell is titled 'NELL 空間 Part 1. Live at Aqua Planet.' The Nell live kit consists of ▲album package ▲kit video ▲photobook ▲kit bag. It includes a total of 16 tracks representing Nell such as ‘Yoohee’ and ‘Wiro,’ along with live performance videos with overwhelming presence, stage making footage, and interview videos.
Yamaha supported Nell’s special stage expressing light and sea at Jeju Aqua Planet with ▲bass guitar TRB1004J ▲stage keyboard YC88 ▲drums DTX10 ▲electric guitar SA2200. The TRB1004J is an instrument optimized for dynamic band music with balanced sound and a wide range of tones.
The stage keyboard YC88, which is simple and intuitive to operate, has separate knobs and buttons for functions such as tone and effects, allowing easy control without menu diving. Additionally, its wooden keys equipped with triple sensors provide a heavy touch in the low range and a light touch in the high range, delivering a deep sound.
The live video featuring Yamaha instruments will be released on Nell’s official YouTube channel, and to celebrate the kit release, Yamaha Music Korea will hold a special event on its Instagram account, giving away live kits to fans through a lottery.
Naoto Tsuchizawa, Head of Business Planning Group at Yamaha Music Korea, said, “We believe it is a meaningful project that Yamaha instruments are part of Nell’s 2022 live kit, loved by countless fans and audiences,” and added, “We hope many look forward to the newly unfolding stage where Yamaha’s rich-sounding instruments meet Nell’s delicate vocals and powerful performances.”
