[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, is starting on-site sales of three menu items (Vegetable Hanwoo Bulgogi Hot Pot, Seafood Tteokbokki, Jaranman Seafood Steamed Dish) developed this year through a specialized food joint research and development project.
The Vegetable Hanwoo Bulgogi Hot Pot and Seafood Tteokbokki will be introduced to consumers starting from the 5th, and the Jaranman Seafood Steamed Dish (Southern U.S. style) will be officially launched from the 15th.
These three menu items began development in May this year through joint efforts between local restaurants and the county. Through one-on-one customized consulting with culinary experts, standard cooking methods were established, and the products were optimized for store sales through consumer evaluations and on-site training consulting.
The Vegetable Hanwoo Bulgogi Hot Pot was jointly developed with Gaya Hanwoo Village (Goseong-eup). It features a rich broth simmered directly, high-quality Hanwoo beef, fresh vegetables, and mushrooms, preserving the original flavors and umami of the ingredients.

The Jaranman Seafood Steamed Dish, developed jointly with Nampalanga (Ha-i-myeon), is a Southern U.S.-style seafood steamed dish tailored to Korean tastes by adding Cajun seasoning and Old Bay seasoning to various seafood including scallops and shrimp. This menu targets tourists visiting the Dinosaur Museum and Sangjokam by linking with the existing seafood hot pot sales.
The specialized food joint research and development project is a business that commercializes popular food menus while utilizing excellent local agricultural, livestock, and marine products to highlight regional characteristics.
Since 2019, items such as Scallop Set Meal (Bonto Dae-ga), Live Octopus and Scallop Seafood Hot Pot, Live Octopus and Scallop Iron Plate Stir-fry (Bulnan Nakji), Hanwoo Vegetable Bulgogi (Goseong Hanwoo Myeongga, Gaya Hanwoo Village), Abalone Seafood Stew (Sinhak Restaurant), and Cheese Pork Cutlet (Dinosaur Market Rest Area) have been sold.
