Actor Yeom Dongheon Passes Away During Illness Battle
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Yeom Dongheon has passed away at the age of 54.
On the 3rd, his agency Star Village Entertainment announced, "Yeom Dongheon passed away around 11:50 PM on the 2nd after battling illness," adding, "We will remember the late actor who loved acting and was passionate."
Born in 1968 in Sokcho, Gangwon-do, the late actor majored in Japanese Language and Literature at Dongguk University and began his acting career on the theater stage in 1994 with a theater troupe.
He later appeared in dramas such as "Beethoven Virus" (2008), "Princess's Man" (2011), "The King 2 Hearts" (2012), "Pinocchio" (2014), JTBC's "The City of the Rising Sun" (2021), and films including "The Yellow Sea" (2010), "Asura" (2016), and "Detective K: Secret of the Virtuous Widow" (2018).
