View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Kyung-jun] On Saturday the 3rd, snow will fall and accumulate in the metropolitan area and inland/mountain areas of Gangwon Province. In some parts of northern Gyeonggi Province, heavy snowfall may lead to the issuance of a heavy snow warning.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 2nd, some areas in northern Gyeonggi Province are expected to receive heavy snow between early morning and morning on the 3rd, which may result in a heavy snow warning. The expected snowfall in northern Gyeonggi is 2 to 7 cm.
Snowfall in other areas is expected to be 1 to 5 cm in inland and mountain areas of Gangwon, 1 to 3 cm in Seoul and southeastern Gyeonggi, and less than 1 cm in Incheon, southwestern Gyeonggi, and the West Sea Five Islands (from the evening of the 2nd to early morning of the 3rd).
The cold will ease somewhat, with nationwide morning low temperatures forecasted between -6 and 5 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 5 and 13 degrees Celsius.
