KB Financial Group Wins Grand Prize in KCGS ESG Excellence Company Category
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] KB Financial Group announced on the 2nd that it won the grand prize in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Excellence Company category at the awards ceremony hosted by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS).
Since 2002, KCGS has been selecting outstanding companies in the ESG sector annually to promote environmental management, social responsibility management, and governance improvement among domestic companies.
This year, after revising the evaluation model to align with the latest global trends, KCGS evaluated a total of 974 listed companies and exclusively selected KB Financial Group for the grand prize.
KCGS stated, "KB Financial was highly evaluated for establishing a company-wide ESG management strategy and response system and for its efforts to realize sustainable finance through these measures."
