Gwangju Nambu Fire Department, New Volunteer Firefighters Appointment Ceremony

The volunteer firefighters of Nambu Fire Station, including the newly appointed members on this day, operate under the 'Act on the Establishment and Operation of Volunteer Fire Brigades' and the Gwangju Metropolitan City Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of Volunteer Fire Brigades. They assist firefighting activities during various disaster situations such as fires, rescues, and emergency medical services, and continuously engage in community safety activities such as fire prevention patrols and safety campaigns.
