Seogwipo Fire Station Conducts Special Training for Infection Prevention Committee and Paramedics
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Seogwipo Fire Station (Chief Kim Ji-hyung) announced on the 30th that on the 29th, it held the second half infection prevention committee meeting to protect the health and prevent infection of paramedics at the 4th-floor conference room of Seogwipo Fire Station, and also conducted special education on cerebrovascular diseases for paramedics.
The meeting was organized to systematically manage 119 rescue and paramedic personnel while complying with COVID-19 prevention rules such as wearing masks.
The main agenda included infection management of paramedics related to COVID-19, listening to suggestions and difficulties of field paramedics, and special education on cerebrovascular diseases for paramedics invited by a medical advisor.
Kim Ji-hyung, chief of Seogwipo Fire Station, said, “Field dispatch personnel are frequently exposed to various infection risks including COVID-19,” and added, “We will continue to make our best efforts to prevent infections through systematic preparations to protect field personnel and patients from various infection risks.”
