‘Ulsan, a Youth City Ideal for Startups’ ... Startup Company Festival Held
November 30 to December 4 at Ulsan Exhibition & Convention Center
Over 10 programs including the Southeast Region Startup Competition to be held
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan City will hold the ‘2022 Ulsan Startup Festival’ for five days from the opening ceremony on the 30th to December 4th at the Ulsan Exhibition & Convention Center.
Now in its third year, this event is hosted by Ulsan City and the Ulsan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and jointly organized by 10 local startup support organizations including the Ulsan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation.
The 10 local startup support organizations have prepared 12 startup-related programs to create a platform for exchange and cooperation among startups, accelerators, and investors.
The event, under the theme ‘Ulsan, a Youth-Friendly City for Startups,’ features ▲ lectures by startups expanding overseas (Global Startup Hub Forum) ▲ Southeast region startup idea competition ▲ medical field excellent idea competition (Medical Hackathon final round) ▲ wireless model (RC) car competition, among others.
At the opening ceremony, Park Woong-hyun, head of the Organizational Culture Research Institute at TBWA Korea, will give a keynote lecture titled ‘The Era We Face and the Spirit of Startups.’
Following this, at the overseas expansion startup lectures (Global Startup Hub Forum), Lee Hyun-jae, director of Woowa Brothers, and Yoon Jong-young, head of the Korea Angel Investment Association, will continue with lectures.
At the venue, 40 booths will be operated to promote 82 companies.
