View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hee-jun] It has been confirmed that several North Korean soldiers fell while taking commemorative photos on top of the transporter erector launcher (TEL) of North Korea's intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) 'Hwasong-17'.
On the 19th, Korean Central TV reported that Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party, supervised the test launch of the Hwasong-17 on site. The footage showed dozens of North Korean soldiers and contributors standing on top of the TEL taking commemorative photos.
The TEL, marked with the number '321', launched the Hwasong-17 on the 18th, and the video shows dozens of soldiers in uniform standing in the empty space where the missile had been mounted.
In the video, soldiers standing on or under the TEL clap and cheer together with General Secretary Kim after taking commemorative photos. During this, soldiers sitting in the front row on top of the TEL suddenly stood up and cheered, and then some soldiers in the back row began to stagger. Some nearby soldiers tried hard to hold them, but instead, they all fell together, and several soldiers quickly disappeared from the TEL.
The footage of several soldiers falling in an instant during a celebration claiming the success of the ICBM launch was broadcast without any editing.
Immediately after the fall scene appeared, the camera zoomed in on General Secretary Kim, who was standing in the middle under the TEL, and around him, without any special measures, everyone continued to cheer while surrounding Chairman Kim.
