Hwasun-gun to Pilot 'Hwasun Jeokbyeok Bus Tour' Starting Next Month

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyuk-jun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) announced on the 25th that it will pilot operate the ‘Winter Hwasun Jeokbyeok Bus Tour’ from the 1st to the 18th of next month.

Following the ‘Dongbok Dam Water Quality Improvement and Win-Win Development Agreement’ signed between Hwasun and Gwangju on the 31st of last month, the county agreed to keep Hwasun Jeokbyeok open year-round and will pilot operate a bus tour to provide safe and convenient tourism services.

The operation period is from the 1st to the 18th of next month, with daily tours during this period.

Tour applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis only on-site; online pre-registration is not available. For tourist safety, tours may be canceled in cases of natural disasters such as heavy rain or heavy snow.

The boarding locations for the tour bus are Hwasun Oncheon Parking Lot, Iseo Community Center, and the entrance of Hwasun Jeokbyeok. The buses will operate from 9:30 AM to 3:40 PM at intervals of 30 minutes to 1 hour.

The capacity is 30 people per bus, and the fare varies depending on the boarding location. The fare is 7,000 KRW at Hwasun Oncheon Parking Lot, and 5,000 KRW at Iseo Community Center and the entrance of Hwasun Jeokbyeok.

A county official said, “The December pilot operation of the Hwasun Jeokbyeok Bus Tour will be a great opportunity to enjoy the winter Jeokbyeok,” adding, “We hope visitors will enjoy and heal while admiring the winter scenery of Hwasun Jeokbyeok, which is set to open year-round in all four seasons.”
