The newly developed playground equipment is a large structure that allows active play, moving beyond relatively simple functions and forms. In particular, it has been certified for quality by obtaining the Q Mark after performance and safety evaluations, and it has passed all review criteria under the Special Act on Safety of Children's Products regarding materials, design, and manufacturing methods of children's playground equipment.
At Hillstate Hong Eun Forest, a 'Rabbit Playground' shaped like a child-friendly rabbit has been installed, and early next year, a 'Moon Playground' featuring a yellow crescent moon shape will be installed at Illumi State in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.
Since filing a patent for 3D printing landscaping technology in July 2020, Hyundai Engineering & Construction developed Korea's first 3D printed outdoor bench for apartment complexes and installed it in over ten complexes. This bench won the U.S. Design Award last year and recently received the Innovation Award at the 2022 Smart Construction Challenge hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
