Dong-Eui University of Science, Achieves S·A Grade in Operational Diagnosis of Bachelor's Degree Major Advanced Program
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui Institute of Technology received an A~S grade in the ‘2021 Academic Year Bachelor’s Degree Major Advanced Course Operation Diagnosis’ conducted by the Korea Council for College Education.
The ‘Bachelor’s Degree Major Advanced Course’ is an advanced vocational education program at the bachelor’s degree level operated by junior colleges. It provides vocational education opportunities to junior college graduates and cultivates professionals equipped with theory and practical skills linked to the field.
This operation diagnosis was conducted on 82 junior colleges nationwide and 308 recruitment units, evaluating ▲department-level operation organization and support ▲curriculum organization and operation ▲student counseling and guidance ▲industry-academia cooperation and education quality management ▲educational outcomes ▲performance compared to university-level operation plans ▲and operation committee performance.
As a result, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology’s Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Early Childhood Education received S grades, while the Departments of Architectural Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Real Estate Management, Medicinal Resource Science, and Clinical Pathology received A grades, exempting them from evaluation for the next two years.
Dean of Academic Affairs Kim Dae-kyung said, “We will further strengthen the bachelor’s degree major advanced course system and spare no support to lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution era and nurture talent.”

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology plans to establish and operate the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering jointly promoted by the Department of Electrical Engineering and the AI Electronics Department in the 2023 academic year.
