Sanhaejinmi means 'Let’s make the mountains (San) and seas (Hae) truly (Jin) beautiful (Mi),' and it is a plogging volunteer campaign carried out by SK Innovation as a practical activity. Plogging is the activity of picking up trash while jogging or walking.
Since last year, SK Innovation has conducted the Sanhaejinmi campaign with direct participation from management and employees, emphasizing efforts to raise nationwide awareness of environmental pollution, which adds significant meaning to the award.
The Public and Social Campaign category selects outstanding projects through evaluation stages focusing on the public nature and social value of projects conducted by corporations and government agencies, including ▲Research ▲Planning ▲Programming ▲Evaluation.
The Sanhaejinmi activities have been widely carried out domestically and internationally over last year and this year. SK Innovation employees and affiliates have participated in Sanhaejinmi plogging activities across the country, including Seogwipo City in Jeju, contributing to preserving clean and beautiful nature. SK Innovation members at overseas business sites in the United States, China, and Poland also joined the plogging efforts.
