Eunsu Kim, Galleria CEO, Receives Italian Knighthood Title
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Kim Eunsoo, CEO of Galleria Department Store, will be awarded the National Order of Merit and the title of Knight by the Italian government.
According to Galleria on the 24th, the Italian honorary order that CEO Kim will receive is the "Ordine della Stella d'Italia."
This order is a national honor given by the Italian government to those who have made significant contributions to friendly cooperation and goodwill in various fields such as economy, culture, academia, and science and technology. The Italian government confers the title of Knight upon recipients of this order.
Federico Failla, the Italian Ambassador to Korea, will present the order and the title of Knight to CEO Kim at the Italian Ambassador's residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on behalf of Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
Since 2018, Galleria has partnered with the Italian Trade Agency to hold the annual "Viva! Italia" event.
