The course was organized to support SMEs and mid-sized companies in entering the international procurement market through an introduction to public development assistance (ODA) project procurement procedures and customized practical lectures by sector. The course, held in person for the first time in three years, was attended by about 50 practitioners from over 30 domestic companies.
This course explained how to participate in the ODA procurement market focusing on sector-specific cases of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) projects, and also introduced the Public Procurement Service's innovative procurement system. The EDCF course was conducted in a hybrid format combining pre-recorded basic video lectures on feasibility studies (F/S), consulting, and main purchase participation methods with on-site lectures focused on practical cases by sector. KOICA provided guidance on grant aid procurement procedures and strategies for entering the international procurement market, while the Public Procurement Service introduced ways for SMEs and mid-sized companies producing innovative products to enter overseas procurement markets.
