View original image[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Kim Hyunjung] A fire broke out at a factory in Anyang City, Henan Province, China, resulting in 36 deaths, 2 injuries, and 2 missing persons, according to China Central Television (CCTV) on the 22nd.
According to reports, the fire occurred at 4:22 PM the previous day at the Kaishinda Trading Company factory in Anyang City, Henan Province. A total of 240 firefighters and 63 fire trucks were dispatched to extinguish the fire. The fire was completely put out by 11 PM, and firefighters entered the site to carry out rescue operations.

As of 6:10 AM on the 22nd, 36 people had died from the accident, and 2 were injured and transported to the hospital for treatment, but their lives are not in danger, CCTV reported. Two persons remain missing and have not been contacted, according to CCTV. Local public security authorities have arrested suspects related to the fire and are investigating the matter.
