The appointment ceremony held on the 21st was attended by Kang Gicheol, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, and Lee Mangi, Public Relations Ambassador, among others.
Following this, an award ceremony for the "Fruit of Love" badge was held to successfully promote the Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign.
Governor Park said, “Small acts of sharing and practice can come together one by one to create a great miracle,” and promised to actively continue activities to spread the atmosphere for fundraising to help neighbors.
He added, “I ask all residents to actively participate in the year-end and New Year fundraising,” and applied to join the Sharing Leader program, which pledges personal donations of over 1 million won annually.
Key local leaders, including Kim Jinbu, Chairman of the Provincial Council, and Park Jonghun, Superintendent of Education, agreed to continue the campaign in a relay format so that the Fruit of Love can be received.
On this day, the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea donated 100 million won in winter heating support funds to contribute to the promotion of energy welfare.
Gyeongnam Province plans to select 78 small-scale social welfare facilities within the province, such as group homes for people with disabilities, small group homes, and local children’s centers, and provide 1.3 million won each from the donated support funds.
