Gyeonggi Office of Education to Establish Future-Oriented Personnel System
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is operating the 'Local Government Employee Personnel System Improvement Council' to establish a future-oriented personnel system.
The Local Government Employee Personnel System Improvement Council is divided into two areas: ▲ performance evaluation and promotion ▲ transfer and recruitment, and will operate until February next year. To this end, the Office of Education formed a council of 22 members considering the ranks and job series of schools, education support offices, affiliated institutions, and the headquarters.
The council will first focus on improving the personnel system that can actively respond to field-centered personnel management and changes in the educational environment.
In addition, through regional meetings, it collects various opinions from public officials by rank and job series in schools, education support offices, affiliated institutions, and from each labor union.
Subsequently, based on the analysis of the personnel system and field opinions, a personnel system improvement plan will be prepared.
The Office of Education plans to reflect the prepared improvement plan in the 'Regulations on Position Management of Local Government Employees under the Gyeonggi Provincial Superintendent of Education' and the 'Guidelines for Work Performance Evaluation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.'
