View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Kim Ki-hyun, a presidential candidate from the People Power Party, criticized former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min, who condemned the Presidential Office's exclusion of MBC reporters from boarding the presidential aircraft, saying, "The opposition keeps insisting on things that never happened and fabricating stories, so if they ride on that opposition and throw stones, I wonder if there is any reason to be in the same party."
On the same day, Kim said on Facebook, "Politicians can make statements based on their convictions, but it is hard to understand that former lawmaker Yoo's interest is not in the corruption allegations against Representative Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party or the National Assembly's overreach, but continuously directed at 'President Yoon'."
Kim added, "As someone who served as floor leader when our party was the ruling party, he should know from experience how the relationship between the president and the ruling party should be, so it is regrettable that he seems to want to repeat that mistake."
He continued, "No one is perfect unless they are a god," and added, "The opposition will likely exaggerate even small things to use them as a tool to overthrow the administration."
