Jeongeup-si to Host Job Fair on 24th... 16 Companies Participating
[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 18th that it will hold the ‘Jeongeup City Job Fair’ at Jeongeup Gymnasium on the 24th.
This job fair was organized to provide local job seekers with various employment information and opportunities to work at excellent companies, and to support local companies in recruiting outstanding talent.
On the day of the fair, 16 excellent local companies including SK Nexilis, Dawonsys, Harim Jeongeup Plant, and Daewoo Electronics Parts will participate to conduct recruitment briefings and corporate promotions.
In addition, employment-related organizations such as the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Jeonbuk Science College, Employment Welfare Plus Center, Youth Support Center, Senior Club, and Women’s New Work Center will participate to promote employment and startup support programs and employment policies for different groups.
These organizations will introduce customized job search strategies tailored to the characteristics of companies and share valuable interview tips for successful employment with job seekers.
Not only focusing on simple employment outcomes, but to also help job seekers plan their future, employment briefings and MBTI vocational aptitude tests will be conducted.
Along with this, various programs for job seekers such as resume photo sessions, makeup, and personal color matching will be operated as side events.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “As this is the first job fair held since COVID-19, we expect it to be an opportunity to resolve mismatches between local job seekers and companies,” and added, “We will continue to make efforts so that job seekers can get employed at their desired companies and companies can hire the necessary talent in a timely manner.”
