Naver Releases 2 Original Audio Movies... Strengthening Its Own Content
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Naver released the audio movie "Reverse," a mystery thriller, and "Changing Partner," a sensual romantic comedy, on the 18th. These original audio movie contents, following "Chung" and "Geukdong," can be enjoyed for free on the Vibe audio tab.
"Reverse" is an audio movie depicting characters tracking a mysterious accident along with lost memories. Directed by Im Geon-jung, actors Lee Sun-bin, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Kim Da-som express the anxiety and tension surrounding the truth through their voices. The process of uncovering the case and the characters' emotional changes are portrayed at a fast pace, with sound delicately and vividly implemented so users can follow the emotional line together. "Reverse" consists of a total of eight episodes, all of which were released on this day.
"Changing Partner," starring Horan and Lee Hyun-jin, is also released as a pilot. Combining Naver's audio movie production expertise with director Bong Man-dae's unique humorous directing style, it presents users with a distinctive atmosphere. Naver plans to expand the genres of original audio movies by challenging romantic comedy following thriller.
Since releasing "Chung" last December, Naver has led the audio movie market by securing high-quality original content intellectual property (IP). Utilizing professional planning and production infrastructure and Dolby Atmos technology, it provides an immersive experience differentiated from typical audio content. "Geukdong," released last September, surpassed 2.2 million plays in about two months.
