This lecture series aimed to provide students with an opportunity to meet authors they had only encountered through books directly at their schools, fostering a closer connection to books and stimulating interest and enthusiasm for reading to cultivate habitual reading habits.
Starting with the meeting lecture with author Lee Oksu held at Munhyang High School on the 27th of last month, on the 11th, lectures with author Kim Namjung were held at Jangseong Nam Middle School and Jangseong Girls’ Middle School.
Author Lee Oksu, using his book ‘I am K’ as the theme, spoke about the growth process of the protagonist in the book and lectured on ‘the importance of thinking through literature’ to adolescents who will live in the future.
Author Kim Namjung, with his book ‘I am the Wind’ as the theme, introduced the writing process based on his eight years of world travel experience and explained the meaning of literary works and the creative process.
