Immediately after the ruling on the 16th, Kumho Tire stated, "Today, the Gwangju High Court handed down a partial victory to the plaintiff in the 'ordinary wage bonus lawsuit retrial,'" and added, "Kumho Tire respects the court's judgment."
They continued, "The outcome of the ordinary wage lawsuit is a matter that significantly impacts the company's management. Therefore, after reviewing the specific details of the judgment, we will once again appeal the severe impact that the difficult situation and the verdict will have on the company through the re-appeal process, and ultimately seek the Supreme Court's decision."
