The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam held a meeting with No Jeong-seok, Director of the Busan Regional Tax Office, at the 3rd-floor members' conference room of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce.

The Changwon Chamber of Commerce organized the meeting to facilitate active communication with tax authorities, as companies are facing increasing difficulties due to high exchange rates, high prices, and high interest rates.
About 20 people attended the meeting, including Gu Ja-cheon, chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, No Jeong-seok, head of the Busan Regional Tax Office, Han Jae-hyun, director of the Honest Taxpayer Support Bureau, Yoo Su-ho, head of the Corporate Tax Division, Lee Cheol-gyeong, head of the Masan Tax Office, and Cheon Yong-uk, head of the Changwon Tax Office.
Chairman Gu said, “Local businesspeople are making continuous efforts not only to faithfully fulfill their tax obligations but also to contribute to society through ESG management and new entrepreneurship. I hope that the opinions expressed today will be actively reflected in tax administration and have a positive impact on business activities and economic revitalization.”
In response, Director No said, “I express my gratitude to local businesspeople who contribute to the national economy by creating jobs and paying taxes faithfully despite difficult conditions. We will actively reflect the discussions from this meeting in tax administration and provide maximum support so that companies can carry out more active activities.”
