Ediya Coffee Sells About 10,000 Cups Daily of 'Heukimja Cream Latte'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Ediya Coffee announced on the 16th that the two types of ‘Heukimja Cream Latte’ launched on the 25th of last month surpassed 200,000 cups in sales within three weeks of release. This means about 10,000 cups were sold daily.
Ediya Coffee is selling the Heukimja Cream Latte and Heukimja Cream Cafe Latte, both made with black sesame, as a limited seasonal offer until February 27 next year.
The Heukimja Cream Latte is topped with Ediya’s unique cream on savory black sesame, making it especially enjoyable on chilly days. The Heukimja Cream Cafe Latte features a sweet and slightly bitter taste by adding espresso to sweetened condensed milk. It is topped generously with black sesame cream and sprinkled with black sesame powder to maximize the savory flavor.
The two types of winter signature snacks launched together, ‘Heukimja Bungeoppang’ (Heukimja Red Bean Bungeoppang and Heukimja Custard Cream Bungeoppang), have also achieved high sales of over 130,000 units within three weeks. The batter is enriched with black sesame for added savoriness, and the mini size makes it convenient for people of all ages to enjoy easily.
