[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Seoul Dragon City announced on the 15th that it will hold a customer appreciation event starting from the 21st to celebrate its 5th anniversary on the 22nd and to reward its customers for the achievements over the past five years.
Seoul Dragon City, composed of four hotels under the global hotel chain Accor, opened in November 2017 in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. With 1,700 rooms and ancillary facilities, it has established a cultural infrastructure encompassing hotels, conventions, leisure, culture, and entertainment. Novotel, Grand Mercure, and Novotel Suites each earned 5-star ratings, while Ibis Styles received a 4-star rating, making it the first '19-star' hotel complex in the domestic hotel industry. This year, it is continuing its business expansion by opening a small banquet hall 'Rendezvous' and a Chinese restaurant 'FEI Pay.'
Seoul Dragon City will hold a customer appreciation event starting from the 21st. From now until December 3rd, a 'KakaoTalk Video Quiz Event' will be held. Participants add the 'Seoul Dragon City' KakaoTalk channel and solve the quiz in the video message sent to them. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as a Novotel Superior room accommodation voucher and a lunch course voucher for the Chinese restaurant FEI Pay.
On-site events are also prepared. Visitors can enjoy the 'Scratch Card Event' and 'Mobile Puzzle Game.' By entering the scratch card event, participants can receive annual membership cards, room vouchers, Food Exchange buffet meal tickets, and The Ribbon lunch course vouchers depending on the results. The mobile puzzle game is conducted by scanning a QR code and participating in the puzzle game.
Until the end of this month, five F&B outlets will offer special 5th-anniversary menus. The Ribbon will sell special menus at prices from five years ago: a 4-course lunch around 40,000 KRW and a 5-course dinner around 100,000 KRW. At Alamezon Wine & Dine, THE 26, and Food Exchange, customers who spend over 300,000 KRW will receive a single-use voucher for the Chinese restaurant FEI Pay course menu.

A Seoul Dragon City official said, "As a result of building a solid growth foundation over five years, operating profit in the first half of this year increased by more than 60% compared to 2019," adding, "We will continue to establish sustainable growth momentum and make Seoul Dragon City a landmark representing Seoul." Meanwhile, Seoul Dragon City was selected last December as the sole negotiator for the new business site of Grand Korea Leisure (GKL)'s Seven Luck Casino Gangbuk Hilton branch and is scheduled to open on January 1 next year.
