Lexus Joins as Global Sponsor for 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'
Lexus LC 500 Convertible Featured in Movie
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Lexus announced on the 15th that it has participated as a global automotive brand sponsor for Marvel Studios' new film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The LC 500 Convertible (LC CV) from Lexus, the official global sponsor, appears in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which was released in Korea on the 9th. The LC CV is a high-performance sports car that maintains the unique exterior style of Lexus's flagship luxury coupe LC 500 while emphasizing the open feel characteristic of a convertible. It was launched domestically last year.
Additionally, ahead of the film's release, Lexus and Marvel unveiled the 'Electric Future' commercial video featuring the battery electric vehicle (BEV) RZ 450e, which applies Lexus's first dedicated electric vehicle platform, e-TNGA.
To commemorate the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Lexus Korea is exhibiting a special wrapping car created in collaboration with Adidas at the COEX Megabox Main Hall until the 18th, and at the Lexus complex cultural space Connectto until the 30th of this month.
The special wrapping car for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features Lexus's luxury coupe LC CV from the film adorned with Wakanda's unique patterns and colors to express Wakanda's identity. The exterior uses symbols representing the Wakanda tribe and purple patterns. On the upper side of the vehicle's side fender, the Adidas and Wakanda Forever gold logos are applied, while the Marvel gold logo is placed on the lower part.

To celebrate the Lexus LC CV special wrapping car exhibition at COEX, Lexus Korea is holding a photo booth event from the 12th to the 16th of this month. Customers who take photos at the photo machine on-site at the cinema and upload them to their Instagram will be entered into a draw where 30 winners will receive a 30,000 KRW Megabox digital gift certificate.
