The Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 14th that they are investigating a woman in her 20s, identified as A, on charges of assault and trespassing.
According to the police, A is suspected of entering an elementary school in Mapo-gu around 12:30 PM on the 11th and assaulting two students. It is reported that A struck the students' faces in the school hallway and classrooms. The injured students were transported to a hospital for treatment but were not seriously hurt. A is known to have mental illnesses, including schizophrenia.
